Houston rapper Maxo Kream shared his new album Weight of the World on Monday, that includes visitor appearances from hip-hop’s high shelf, together with Tyler, the Creator, A$AP Rocky, Don Toliver, Freddie Gibbs and extra.
Following 2018’s Punken and his 2019 major-label debut Brandon Banks, this newest file boasts a distinctly extra severe tone as Maxo delves into the ups and downs of life after the tragic passing of his brother, Mmadu Biosah, and overcoming a number of obstacles. The album boasts 16 tracks, which embrace beforehand launched singles “Greener Knots” and “Native Joker.”
“My greatest album,” the rapper writes on Instagram, “My greatest work I put my all into this shit blood sweat and tears.”
Launched by way of RCA Information, Weight of the World was produced by Hit-By, Cardo, DJ Dahi, whereas mixing and mastering was dealt with by TDE’s Blended By Ali and Mike Dean, respectively.
Maxo opted out of an industry-standard Friday launch and as a substitute dropped the album on Monday to commemorate the anniversary of the dying of his cousin Woodrow Kream in addition to his niece’s birthday.
